Futureworld represents an idea of the future of the city of Singapore. The bandwheel in center stage resides offstage, and moves into position on an overhead track. It houses an eight-piece band in individual gyroscopic pods, while it rotates clockwise, swivels and tilts forward. The theatre, show and sets were designed by Mark Fisher for the Chinese government.
