This was one of those rare pictures that painted itself. I got a call on a Friday from the New York Times, saying they wanted a picture for a story about marketing psychotherapy. I had a photo of Times Square that I took on my last visit to New York, and I combined it with a portrait of Sigmund Freud, with some words, that made it look like a tacky billboard ad.
