This 1991 portrait of Paul McCartney was recently picked up in the German edition of Rolling Stone. The editors figured that the simultaneous portrayal of old and new Paul was perfect for their review of Paul's “Chaos and Creation in the Backyard”. This image was also the one that inspired Arlene Owseichik to hire Peterson for his first rock poster, which of course led to a series of over 60 posters for Bill Graham Presents and other clients.
